Evram Dawd (Evram Dawd)

As an engineer, Evram has been working in the international development sphere since his years as an undergraduate student. As part of Engineers Without Borders, he was the Project Technical Lead of the Multifunction Platform Program based in northern rural Uganda, which was funded through the EPA People, Prosperity, and the Planet (P3) Award, The National Geographic Great Energy Challenge Grant, and funds from The Boeing Company, Columbia University, and the Millennium Campus Network. Additionally, as the Co-Founder of SolFlo, a social enterprise dedicated to developing sustainable and affordable solutions to water accessibility in the developing world, Evram has worked in Myanmar developing manufacturing, assembly, and supply-chain capabilities for the production of a novel, low-cost, solar powered irrigation pump with capital from Stanford University’s Social Entrepreneurship Lab and other Social Venture funding. These experiences have shown Evram that while the value of a dollar may be constant, its efficacy is not. Altruism is great, but it doesn’t guarantee results (Luke 16:1-13) – that’s why Evram plans on making sure that the funds raised by Noon have the most impact possible by partnering with organizations that share this mentality.
